I made these for the first time this Christmas and they were a big hit. They taste like a Butter Finger candy bar.

Easy Peanut Butter Finger Bars
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light-colored corn syrup
2 cups peanut butter
3 cups crisp rice cereal
3 cups cornflakes
¾ cup butter
4 cups powdered sugar
2 - 4-serving size packages vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
¼ cup milk
1 – 12oz package semi-sweet chocolate chip pieces
½ cup butter
Line a 12x10x1 inch baking pan with foil, extending the foil over the edges of the pain; set aside.
Peanut butter layer: In a large saucepan, combine granulated sugar and corn syrup, heat and stir just until mixture starts to boil around the edges. Heat and stir for 1 more minute. Remove from heat. Stir in the peanut butter until melted. Stir in rice cereal and cornflakes until coated. Press mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Pudding layer: In a medium saucepan, melt ¾ cup butter. Stir in powdered sugar, dry pudding mix and milk. Spread over the cereal layer.
Frosting layer: In a small saucepan, combine chocolate pieces and the ½ cup butter, heat and stir over low heat until melted. Spread frosting over pudding layer.
Cover and chill about 1 hour until set. To serve, remove mix from pan by lifting the foil; remove foil and cut into bars.
Makes approx 64 bars.
To Store: Layer bars in a single layer between wax paper in an airtight container. Store in fridge for up to 2 days.
