Happy Birthday Bella

On Thursday Dec. 15 Bella turned 9.....9!!!! I still can not believe it and I have been here every step of the way.

On Thursday, I took McDonald's and cookies to her class so she could celebrate with them. The kids loved it and Bella felt like quite the special little girl that day. In the afternoon we had a Girl Scout meeting and took Brownies for the Brownies. (Please say someone else gets my humor).

On Saturday, we had her actually birthday party. Sandy planned a Rock Star Karaoke party at her house. We transformed her garage to a karaoke, Just Dance 3, DJ dance party. We put a black covering on all the walls, hung a disco ball, set up the Wii, set up the karaoke machine and a DJ system. The girls had pizza, chips, soda, veggies and cupcakes.

When the girls first got there we had a dress up area where they could paint their nails, spray glitter in their hair, put on skirts and boas. We had fake headset microphones, sunglasses and glow in the dark jewelry. After getting all decked out the girls walked the red carpet for their photo opp with Bella and then they could enter the VIP Area (aka the garage) to get the party started.

At the end of the day the girls seemed to have fun, but even with all the planning Sandy and I put into it, the day was upstaged by Bella's birthday present.

We gave her a Toy Yorkie. She has named her Roxy.
