Class of 2008

Well, its official. My baby is no longer a baby. She is officially a "kid" as she says. Isabella had her Pre-K graduation on Friday, June 20. She graduated from Sonrise Christian School in Covina. She has attended
this school for the last two years and it has become a big part of both of our lives. I will miss the staff and kids as much as she will. I did voluteer to help with future field trips if they need me (yes I have attachment issue's :-) !).

The theme of the night was Shining Stars so a
ll the kids wore gold star and the stag was decorated with star that had the kids pictures on them. There were 26 graduates in her class. The ceremony consisted of the kids singing "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercyme and a song called "Thank You".

All the kids look so proud to be graduating and walk across that floor with their heads held high. Every once in a while a teacher will get a class that is truly special and hard to let go of. Both of the teachers agreed this was one of those class. All these lil' ones bonded with eachother and really learned to love the Lord and share His love with any that would listen.

Both the preschool teachers gave speeches to express what the class meant to them. It was so bitter sweet. The kids got to walk across the stage to receive their diplomas and at the end of the ceremony they put on star sunglass and left the stages dancing
and with their hands in the air "raising the roof". It was the cutest thing.

Unfortunately, my camera does not take very good pictures in the gym. I also made the mistake of giving David the camera because he had a better view of Bella getting her diploma. Lets just say he will NEVER make it as a photographer, so no picks of Bella actually receiving her diploma. But, here is one after the ceremony, when we were back in her class
room.

Afterwards, we went home and had coffee, desserts and Bellini's for the family members that where able to attend. Bella was very
excited to have her Papa Bob and Nana Tina there. Of course, they all had to show just how cool the are and wear their sun glass at night! Watching my dad and Bella together is so much fun. They play like they are both 5 and wear each other out!

It is hard to believe my baby will be going to kindergarten in the fall. Time is going by so fast. We are not sure what school she will be going to. I really wanted to keep her at Sonrise but David felt she would be better off a Mesa Elementary in Covina. It is one if the best public schools in the area. We do not live in the same school district as Mesa so right now we are waiting to get her released from our district and accepted into Mesa's. Luckily, David works for the district we want, so we should not have a problem getting her in. I just keep praying God opens what ever doors we need to make sure she is in the right school. Where ever that may be.
