Bella's Disney Birthday

Yesterday was Bella's 7th birthday. I took her out of school right before lunch so we could have lunch with her dad. We took her to Red Robin which is her favorite restaurant and they sang to her of course! After lunch, her dad had to go back to work so I took her to Disneyland. We had a blast. The park is just gorgeous this time of year. Everywhere you look there is garland covered with ornaments. All the characters are in Christmas attire, there is Christmas music being piped through the park and the Castle is topped with snow and at night the lights on the castle and It's A Small World are amazing. Disney does wonderful job!

We arrived at the park at about 2pm and were surprised that even though there were tons of people, the lines for the rides were not that bad. The longest was 20 minutes. It seemed most people where there just to see the decorations and the lights as it was more crowded at 8pm then 2pm.

There were many wonderful experiences yesterday but I have to say my favorite was when Bella met Cinderella. All the Princess are at the "Princess Fantasy Faire" . It looks like a winding cobblestone path through a garden and there are 3 different spots to meet a Princess. When you first enter, the cast member advises you that there is no back tracking. When we went in, Jasmine was at the "station" and as soon as we were done and started heading to station 2, the Princess switched and Cinderella, Bella's FAVORITE, came out. Our faces must have said everything because we were reminded very quickly that there is NO BACKTRACKING. Grrr! So we finished through and ran back to the (30min) line.

When Bella finally got to Cinderella, she told her that she is her favorite Princess and the two of them proceeded to have a 5 minute conversation about Bella and her birthday. It was priceless and completely made Bella's day! Here are a few more pictures from yesterday:
