Hot Shotz

Bella's is playing soccer again this year. I did not let her play last year because, the year prior, she was usually in tears by half time, did not want to chase the ball, and if a another girl had the ball she refused to try to take it away.

This year she begged and pleaded to play and I agreed, as long as she promised to try her best, listen to coach and not be scared of the girls or the ball this year. She agreed. My baby went from being scared of being kicked or pushed to playing goalie! At least I can say she listened to my conditions and took them seriously.

Our team is made up of 7 & 8 year old girls and we are having SO much fun, even though we are 0-2 so far. The important thing is the girls are constantly showing improvement and are starting to get comfortable on the field. Here are a few pictures from practice and our second game. I have blurred faces of all girls except Bella when needed.
